Mission

The Baobab Diaspora Visions Project reports on environmental, development, and conservation issues related to the increase of extreme weather events and the expansion of sustainable development initiatives.

The goal is to reach and inspire young adults worldwide (especially those of African descent); to make policy recommendations and to advocate on behalf of their communities and nations; and to utilize new media platforms to support and project their visions and voices through environmental storytelling.

We focus on the needs of and opportunities for people of color worldwide as connected with environmental crisis mitigation, adaptation, and resiliency methods and technologies.
